Requesting WIEMS Assistance at Events

WIEMS is a non-profit organization that caters to the needs of the Community of St. Maarten and the Windward Islands. As such, our members provide their time and knowledge in Emergency Service to provide care to the community.

Organizations requesting medical assistance at any of their events are required to submit their request at least three (3) weeks in advance to allow for proper preparation and planning, and the cost is dependent on the amount of persons. Requests made between 1-3 weeks prior to event will incur a late fee. We will not be accepting requests made less than 1 week for an event, unless approved by the board.

The cost covers our medical materials, ensures our volunteers are taken care of with food and drink, and all other operational costs.

For events requiring an ambulance: Non-profit organizations are subject to a fee of US$150.00. Other organizations/For-profit events are subject to a fee of US$250.00. WIEMS provides personnel included along with the ambulance.
